Journaling:

Today we had the best grown-up girl bonding time. Because you saw me looking at some Mango models, you pleaded that I dress you up, apply make up on and take pictures of you. Oh well, Dad is not around so why not? So there, you had become the most adorable model and of course with mommy as your wanna-be photographer. I was amazed at how you projected on the camera without me giving instructions of how you should pose. Maybe, in the future, you will be a model and when that day comes, Mommy will be the most proud and happy mom in the whole world. I love you Erin Girl, my mini-me.

She Just Turned Three!

credits: Butterfly Princess Freebie Kit from Mommy Scraps

Journaling:
Celebrated her 3rd birthday at Club Manila East. More ramblings about that day on my other blog. ( yes, I'm cooking up a new blog so that this one will get to focus on my Digital Scrapbook Arts alone.)

Ain't this kit looks so girly? Just a perfect freebie for my Erin girl who loves pink like her mom and same goes with flowers and butterflies. By the way, I just did this layout through MS Powerpoint and you can try it out too! Just go to Mommy Scraps and download the free kit, unzip the file and you can insert the images just as if your inserting a picture for a presentation. After you collaborate all the paper and elements together with your persoanl pictures you can save it as JPEG and voila! you're done. A simple step for a beginner especially if you have no idea yet about Photoshop.

( Feel free to ask me if I tickled your creative mind about this, though I'm still learning my way on this hobby )

Warning: Digital Scrapbooking is addicting! Enjoy!

My Charming Little Princess

I don't know why I don't have internet connection at our house last night, however, it was just the third or fourth time that SmartBro failed me. I thought maybe there's a connection with the power interruption that occured last night at our place, good thing it took only one hour and then it resumed but unfortunately the server was still down.

So, since I'm determined to stay up late again because I'm supposed to finish my online task, I just opened my Adobe Photoshop Software and came up with this.

She is my eldest daughter and she will soon turn three this end of March, MY LITTLE ME as what most people say when they see us. Such a kikay like me and as talkative like her Dad ( she got her PR talent at her Dad, maybe someday  she'll be into Sales too like him). We call her "Erin Girl" and sometimes our slang version of it which is "Eng-gerl".=)

CaNdiD ShoTs

Enhanced pictures with some photoshop effects..

Heleina Erin's first time to ride a train.

No time for some digiscrapping, and yet I wanted to show off her facial expression here. She just came from a nap, after we watched Disney on Ice last Sunday.. thought she'll get into a bad mood when we woke her up to tell her that we're already inside the train. But no, she flashed those big (blue?) eyes upon seeing the view from the outside. More kwento's about Disney on Ice here..

Flash Effects

I was looking at the pictures I took last Saturday and I was amazed by the effects of the flash to the pictures below. As I try hard to know and learn more about  photography, one thing that comes in my mind when taking pictures ( im only using a P&S camera*sad*), as per my boss' advice who also fancy photography, If im aiming to shoot a subject which is against the light, i should use the flash, to eliminate having a shadowed and dark result. But I know such advise is very simple and basic compare to those who'se really into photography especially using DSLR camera, but it helped me achieved a nice-to-look at pictures.

Searching for a more reliable explanation on how i came out with these photos, I found one at Wikipedia. Comments and reactions to this post will be greatly appreciated specially from those who are into Photography.

Guilty

Yes I felt guilty as of this moment. I've been thinking of my middle child, Erin. She got this "singaw" on her mouth for a few days now, having a hard time eating, she just drinks "milo" and eats ice cream and no other solid foods. She can't even have her milk using her feeding bottles. So I decided to take her to her pedia yesterday. During Sundays, she holds her clinic at TMC SM Marikina. Hubby attended a friends' son's baptismal, right after having lunch, I prepared Ciren and Erin, mom took care of Cien. Upon check up, Dra. Araneta-Sanchez prescribed a some kind of a mouth spray, if ever the "singaw" still won't get away. Aside from the Daktakort, Pyralvex and Xylogel that I've been putting on Erin's mouth. Since, were at the SM, we strolled around after her check up. Too bad I did not bring our camera, SM had this nice white christmas design on the ground floor. In there were almost real-life Panda, Polar Bear ( upon seeing them I told Ciren, look oh! Papa Bear... and Ciren bluntly told me, no! its a Polar Bear! ) geez.. kids these days are way smarter huh! There's also a family of Unicorns and Tigers.. and they move! as if they are alive.. Back to Erin, upon arriving home I thought she'd be ok na, she asked for a chicken, played with his brother and even had christmas carols with her playmates. Time for bed, and maybe she got tired, she fell asleep as soon as she lied down to her bed. But during midnight, she woke up and started crying again, as in loud cry! I comforted so her other siblings won't be disturbed. But as I keep on doing that, she just keeps on crying and saying that her mouth hurts, that her bed was wet..and other things she complained just to justify her wail. Until I lost my patience, i told her if she won't stop crying I'll let her sleep in the living room, she stopped and there she goes again. Crying and wailing until Cien and Ciren cried too.Because of that, I happened to spank her buttocks and i really scolded her. Almost 1:30 am, and i think she got tired of crying, until she said she'll sleep on my shoulder. So there, sobbing and then falling into sleep. This morning, we left her still asleep. We didn't wake her up since she needs more sleep. But now that Im here in the office, Im thinking of her. Mom wasn't answering my texts on how is she. There's no phone at home and I can't talk to her. I texted my mom and told her to tell Erin that I will bring her "pasalubong" when I get home, my peace offering. Now i miss Erin more upon completing this entry.
